Research at the IuS

The Institute for Unmanned Systems is a pioneer in research on unmanned systems. The four research fields "economy", "law", "social sciences" and "security" are dealing with the increasing implementation of the new technology on the market, describing future possibilities of unmanned systems already today.

The institute is well equipped to deal with the fields of research, since the professorship of the NBS provides expert knowledge and the discourse with the students has an positive impact. The research concept is always based on an interdisciplinary approach.

In addition to its regular research activities, the institute also carries out contract work and third-party research for companies, authorities and ministries. For example, confidential assessments are made which examine the potential effects of unmanned systems on critical infrastructures.
